Animating Regulations and Help Empty

For those who need it, I've made a small topic for animating sprites.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't submit solitary sprites into the Game Maker files. You submit whole animations. I figured it'd be an even longer time-consuming process to animate everything alone, so I ask anybody with a confirmed character to animate their sprites.

Step 1-Before you can animate, you need a GIF animator. And don't cheap out, get the good shit, you see its like marijuana you puff one part of it and its so fuckin good you get real wet like very wet and start having sex with anyone you know... well for me at least. The best one is actually Beneton Movie GIF. Flash compresses the sprites, so DO NOT ANIMATE WITH FLASH. The frames should be saved into Paint as separate files. To prevent any shakiness in the animations, use the line tool in Paint to align the sprites.

Step 2-Animations. It's important to get them as accurate as possible.

So, here are specific things you need to keep separate.

First off, animate Attacks and Attack Effects separately.

Next, seperate the Light and Heavy Attacks. That one is almost a given.

Lastly, when an attack requires repetition, like one of Silver Hood's specials, then you need to make an enterance, a start, a repeating animation, and an end. This goes the same for Assist Techniques.

I'm also going to leave this topic open for those who need help animating, but only a few of you should.

As long as the animation doesn't come out blurry or has unecessary problems, then it's fine. But I still suggest Beneton.
