Weight Classes often define strength and power, as well as speed. Well, it's no different in Generation:DeviantBattle, and let's hope it isn't.
THE WEIGHT CLASSES:
Heavy
Average
Light
Heavy classes are slow but deal more damage. Most heavy classes are definable by their movement speed and the anticipation frames between attacks.
A good example of a heavy class character would be Silver Hood. You mat want to note, however, that he is the only heavy who can dash, due to his powers. And even then, it's still slow.
Average Class are simple to read, as obvious by the fact that their attacks are faster, but still have a bit of weight to them. This is the only weight class that changes attack type. For instance, there can be averages with strong and weak attack strengths.
A good example of a average class character would be Knightmare.
Light Class is full of characters that can dash, and their attacks are fast and usually weapon-based.
A good example of a light class character would be Neva.
The movement in each class also heavily changes and varies.
For example.
Most light characters can dash, but those who can dash only dash forward and back. This calls for more open windows for powerful shots, but they usually move far away enough in time. Some characters, including Neva, only dash in one linear direction, rather than forward and back dash. Silver Hood is unique in that he is a heavy class who can dash. As expected, he too can only dash in one direction at a time, and must turn to dash n the opposing direction, which requires stopping.
